MKEonline.com was the digital counterpart to Journal Communications' weekly print publication aimed at the under-35 demographic (often referred to as "millennials"") in the Greater Milwaukee DMA. The tabloid was in circulation from 2004 to 2008 and engaged readers with blogs, comprehensive event calendars, and lifestyle media.
In 2004, the website was the New Media Federation Digital Edge Awards winner for Best Home Page User Experience.
Matthew Stanton's design work included UX, graphics, CSS, animation, and template integration into Genesis, an in-house content management system (CMS).
