In New York's 2017 mayoral election cycle, Matthew Stanton planned and led the online and social marketing planning, audience survey, and live streaming for five town halls across the city's boroughs, asking people what questions should be asked in a series of three head-to-head candidate debates.
In cooperation with digital teams from the NY Campaign Finance Board, Common Cause, the City University of New York, and other partners, we gathered questions from live town halls and social forums on Facebook, Twitter, and targeted Reddit groups from across the city (/r/nyc), each borough (/r/bronx, /r/brooklyn, /r/manhattan, /r/queens, /r/statenisland), and most active communities (/r/astoria, /r/williamsburg, /r/harlem, and more).
