Digital Media Works - History & Examples www.linkedin.com/in/pingstanton |
I joined the CBS Television Stations Digital Media Group as a senior producer of national news, later becoming the group's executive producer. In 2010, CBS launched a reorganization of its CBS Television and CBS Radio digital divisions into CBS Local, focused as much on marketing to targeted DMAs and original online content as providing digital channels for news, sports and music broadcasting. During the unit transition I became the director of field operations for teams in 30 markets. | |
Digital Strategy, Training & AnalyticsIn every role I've had with CBS, I've coordinated digital training and editorial standards for the owned-and-operated CBS Television Stations Group staff, including news and social producers as well as online marketing programs. I also helped organized an all-team Digital Media Summit in New York City and, starting in 2008, maintained a CBS Corporation web resource for sharing tools from CBS News, CNET, Showtime and other companies to non-O&O affiliates. |
